This painting is made with acrylic paint and glazes, acrylic inks, collage paper, and various mark making tools like Art Graf tailor’s chalk.
About This Painting: Many of my early studies were about helping me to learn how to create movement in the land using color, line and texture. With these paintings, I’ve been less interested in the accuracy of things and more interested in the suggestion that will spark the imagination in a certain direction. This piece was a definite attempt at doing that and I loved how the collage played such a role of interest as you physically move closer to the canvas.
