This painting is made with acrylic paint and glazes, acrylic inks, collage and various mark making tools like colored pencils.
About This Painting: One of the themes that emerged in this series was a wonderful exploration of transparency and reflections in the landscape. I have always loved depicting transparency, and using this process allowed me to do it in new ways that were more in line with my desire for a nice blend of representation and abstraction. This one used a lot of paint glazes as well as watercolors. With the dark landforms contrasting the bright reflections on the water, I attempted to depict the visual drama that these peaceful scenes can deliver.

If you live outside of the U.S./Canada, contact me before purchase and I will handle your purchase personally. I ship paintings like this flat and very carefully packaged to protect it during transit. I do my best to ship within 3 days of receiving your order.
