About This Painting: Sometimes our ideas are way out in front of where we are at present. It was about 2 years ago that I started a landscape made entirely of collage. I loved the concept, but I wasn’t ready for the rawness and didn’t really know how to incorporate it into my work. So it sat in the corner until I was beginning to scale up this series in size. Finally having a context, I wondered if maybe it was time to finish this one, which I did! Our paintings are always a bit of past work, a bit of future work, and that coalescing is our work at present.
If you love collage, this one just might be for you! Up close, the visual texture is very apparent.

If you live outside of the U.S./Canada, contact me before purchase and I will handle your purchase personally. I ship paintings like this flat and very carefully packaged to protect it during transit. I do my best to ship within 3 days of your purchase.
